We updated our selection of the best fitness tracker for kids for 2021.
Kids’ smartwatches are not only a fashion accessory. They are a great way to improve their fitness and develop healthy habits early. There is no need to break the bank either. Most trackers are quite cheap, resistant, and come with a wide range of functions to keep track of our children’s daily activity.
More than a simple step counting device, some offer activity challenges and reward systems and can even be synchronized with the family account. You love your apple watch, so why not bring the whole family to the Digital Health world? The sooner your kids will enjoy reaching their activity goals, the healthier and happier they will be. And a happy kid is a happy parent.
What to look for when buying a fitness tracker for kids
Children do not need to stick by the 10,000 steps a day rule that we, as adults, try to achieve. They are naturally active, and jumping in a playground may not be considered part of a fitness routine. That’s why smartwatches for kids serve a different purpose. They are great to keep track of your kids fitness and make sure that they do not spend too much time in front of the TV!
We selected what we think are the best smartwatches for kids. Don’t be fooled. These products are not toys and, when used properly, can really provide great benefits to your children’s health. With colorful wristbands, funny face watches, and gamification as their core principles, they will offer all the kids to stay healthy.
There is no need to look for stress sensors, heart rate monitors, or other fancy indicators to track sleep. For children, a step counter, games, and a colorful look are all they really need.
Starting from less than $30, these smartwatches will be a great gift for any kid and help them move more.
