Withings BPM Connect

The ability to connect it to an iOS or Android smartphone offers a complete dashboard for easy sharing with your doctor.
BPM Connect by Withings
Price when reviewed: $79.95
When choosing the best home blood pressure monitor, we easily considered the Withings BPM Connect as our first choice. In our review of the Withings BPM Connect, we found it to be stylish, reliable, and smart.
This self-contained device does rely on an external arm cuff. The sleeve will accommodate arms from 9 to 17 inches. Rechargeable with a micro USB cord, the battery lasts up to 6 months.
The BPM was the first of a new generation of blood pressure monitors such as the QardioArm, the Omron Evolv, or the Wellue Armfit Plus that offer a new and convenient way to monitor systolic, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate at home.
The Withings BPM connect is FDA approved and includes an easy-to-read LED display and color-coded feedback to understand what your blood pressure level means. Three LEDs (green, orange, or red) will light up based on the American Heart Association’s recommendation for normal, moderate, or severe high blood pressure levels. The accuracy of the readings has been validated during clinical trials involving multiple users.
It can be used both as a self-contained device but also connect seamlessly with your phone. Installing the app is easy, and the connection between the device and phone works via Bluetooth. We appreciated that the readings are displayed on the device and sync automatically within the app for easy sharing with your physician.
The only downside of this device lies in its user interface and the ability to switch between the users. Up to eight users are available. The process is done by pressing the button on the device and is not as intuitive as possible. Being able to switch directly from the app. would also be an excellent option.

Omron is recognized as one of the best companies when dealing with Blood Pressure Monitoring. The Omron Platinum is part of the Series 10 and is one of the most modern, user-friendly, and accurate home blood pressure monitors. It features numerous innovations such as the Advances Accuracy Technology that averages reading or TruRead Technology to improve filter breathing. In a classic form factor and with a large and easy to read display, the Omron Platinum will not let you down. Needless to say that Omron Blood Pressure Monitors are FDA approved. An excellent choice for those looking for a robust and top of line Blood Pressure Monitor.
Platinum by Omron Healthcare
Price when reviewed: $78.23
The Japanese company Omron is famous for the quality of its medical devices and is undoubtedly producing some of the most advanced blood pressure monitors. The Platinum Upper Arm monitor offers a high-contrast large dual-display backlit LCD to compare the previous measure. The arm cuff is comfortable and will fit arms from 9 to 17 inches in circumference.
It wasn’t easy to select a winner between the Withings BPM and this model. Both are the best blood pressure monitor you can actually find on the market. We prioritized the Withings’ innovative design, but the choice is clear for those who prefer a more standard form factor, and The Omron should be your pick.
Omron’s technology to record the blood pressure is called Advanced Accuracy Technology and relies on 5 times more data points than standard blood pressure monitors. The technology also minimizes the impact of breathing and movement during the measure to reduce error.
Featuring TruRead Technology, the Omron Platinum averages the last three readings taken within the previous 10 minutes. It could be beneficial if your upper arm measures were not done in the same settings or right after climbing stairs or walking.
The Omron monitors will display Hypertension Indicator as well as potentially detected irregular heartbeats. A feature is unique to Omron related to the high morning average indicator. If your blood pressure is abnormally high in the morning, increasing your risk of heart attack, a warning will appear.
The Omron Platinum Series is powered by 4 AAA batteries or an AC adapter. It stores up to 200 readings from 2 different users. The Omron Blood Pressure monitor also interfaces with your smartphone using the Omron Connect app. The last little perk of this exceptional Blood Pressure monitor is that it connects with Alexa to keep track of your measurements.

Lazle BPM by Lazle
Price when reviewed: $44.95
The LAZLE BPM model may not be from a brand as prestigious as Withings or Omron, but it offers a 5.5 inch backlit display that people will greatly appreciate, like me, who do not have the fighter pilot eyesight.
Even in dim light, the screen will stay visible, and with the illuminated START/STOP button, you will ever be able to measure your blood pressure at night time without waking up better half. We agree that it may not be a feature to use routinely, but you know that the screen will always be sharp, even in difficult lighting conditions.
The built-in memory allows to record up to 99 measurements for 2 different users. The LAZLE measures the Systolic, Diastolic blood pressures, heart rate and can detect arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat. Powered by either 4 AAA batteries or a USB cord, it will not let you down.
This Blood Pressure Monitor also offers an adjustable arm cuff that will accommodate people with larger arms. From 8 inches, it extends up to 17 inches.
